Over Bite (Deepbite)

A big beautiful smile needs to show lots of teeth. But an overbite doesn’t. An overbite happens when the top teeth come so far down that they hide most of your bottom teeth. This makes your smile look like an older person’s smile. Your teeth may look straight, but over time this excessive pressure between the teeth may cause the teeth to shorten through wear. This is similar to grinding and can lead to costly dental work such as crowns.
