Is Referral Needed to See an Orthodontist?
No. You do not need an orthodontic referral to see us about your new smile and there is no additional benefit in having a referral. Orthodontists receive a higher level of training than dentists and therefore can pick up orthodontics problems dentists may miss. You can contact us at any time to arrange a consultation to discuss your motivations for considering orthodontic treatment. After your consultation, we will send a report of our findings and copy of your records to your dentist. If you do not have a dentist, you can ask us for a recommendation and we will put you onto one of our trusted referrers that we have worked closely with for many years. Over the years, patients have found us in different ways. Many of our patients come and see us as their dentist has referred them. Others come due to word of mouth recommendation from friends and family, social media, google, our website or other sources recommending our 5 star service.
